Nolika 2025 :
Exploration
At the piano or guitar, Nolika composes and writes songs filled with imagery - sometimes they scream, sometimes they whisper. They speak of storms, but also of the calm that precedes them.
BIOGRAPHIE
Her lyrics unfold like deciphering a dream. Her stage name comes from a typo.
At the piano or guitar, Nolika composes and writes songs filled with imagery - sometimes they scream, sometimes they whisper. They speak of storms, but also of the calm that precedes them.
Originally from Béziers, France, she spent years in Belgium and then in England, before returning to her hometown in 2019. As a singer-songwriter driven by a constant desire to explore new sonic territories, she creates atypical atmospheres. Her songs, in French and in an alternative pop style, strike a balance between softness and power, with a touch of surrealism that invites the world to be seen through a new lense.
On stage, Nolika invites her audience into a musical journey filled with poetry, oscillating between introspection and power. Her voice, at times soft and melancholic, at times strong and fiery, sings to the audience with sincere emotions.
Her musical projects are enriched with a visual and artisanal dimension through the creation of Zines, DIY magazines rooted in punk culture. These combine excerpts from her writing notebooks, analog photographs, and illustrations.
Coming soon
Following two EPs and an album, new songs are emerging. For now, they come to life on stage. Recordings are in preparation for 2025, in collaboration with Gabriel Ducellier from the band Fabulous Sheep for arrangements.
Also, stay tuned for Nolika soon performing in a duo with Nika Leeflang on bass.
